Message from the Pastor
Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Seacrest Presbyterian Church is a community of believers and their families who are committed to bringing glory to God and developing disciples for Jesus Christ in the Delray Beach/ Boynton Beach area and throughout the world.
The members and friends of Seacrest are uniquely connected to one another by faith in Christ as Lord and Savior. As a church family, we are committed to worshipping God in a way that pleases Him, proclaiming the good news that Jesus Christ died for sins and rose again so that we can trust in Him alone for salvation, and ministering to one another and the world as God's people. By God's grace we will help your family to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.
We are interested in serving you and your family, and we want you to know more about the church. If you would like to know more about Seacrest, we invite you to come and worship with us on Sundays at 9:00 a.m. (contemporary worship), 10:30 a.m. (traditional worship) and 5:00 p.m. (evening worship) or join us for a fellowship dinner and Bible Study on Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. It is our prayer that you may experience the joy of knowing Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and may find your place in His church. Let me remind you of His promise: Jesus said, "He that believes in me has everlasting life." (John 6:47)
Rev. Randy Patterson What We Believe
We believe the Bible is the written word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit and without error in the original manuscripts. The Bible is the revelation of God’s truth and is infallible and authoritative in all matters of faith and practice.
We believe in the Holy Trinity. There is one God, who exists eternally in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
We believe that all are sinners and totally unable to save themselves from God’s displeasure, except by His mercy.
We believe that salvation is by God alone as He sovereignly chooses those He will save.
We believe His choice is based on His grace, not on any human individual merit, or foreseen faith.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, who through His perfect life and sacrificial death atoned for the sins of all who will trust in Him, alone, for salvation.
We believe that God is gracious and faithful to His people not simply as individuals but as families in successive generations according to His Covenant promises.
We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells God’s people and gives them the strength and wisdom to trust Christ and follow Him.
We believe that Jesus will return, bodily and visibly, to judge all mankind and to receive His people to Himself.
We believe that all aspects of our lives are to be lived to the glory of God under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
