Pioneer Clubs is a Bible-based club program that Seacrest Presbyterian Church sponsors for children in kindergarten through eighth grade. This Christ-centered program helps children apply biblical principles to everyday situations. Pioneer Clubs' slogan is "Christ in every aspect of life."
Pioneer Clubs (grades K-4) meet every Wednesday at 7 p.m. Our middle school youth (grades 5-8) meet every Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the youth house. Our high school youth (grades 9-12) meet every Thursday at 7 p.m. in the youth house.
Pioneer Clubs began the new year with a Kick-Off on Saturday, September 23.
We had pony rides, animals, a rock wall, and other fun surprises. Thanks to the Buehmans, Tanzies, Bartletts, Liz Kennedy, Ted Seymour, Sarah Camburn, Ginny Cameron, Mary McOwen, Margrit Neumann, Paul Starkoski, Scott Starkoski, Gayle Smith, and especially Scott McOwen (who put it all together). The Church, the School, and the Pioneer Club all received good publicity.
Pioneer Clubs were the topic during Chapel at Seacrest Christian School in September...with Dr. Scott and Miss Jeanette.

The following Pioneer Clubs are offered:
Trailblazers: Grade 4:
Leaders: Scott McOwen; Craig and Jane Holloway
Pathfinders: Grades 2-3:
Leaders: Gayle Smith; Margrit Newmann
Voyagers: Grades K-1
Leaders: Jeanette Ingram, Paul Starkoski and Scott Starkoski
Club Coordinators: Jeanette Ingram and Scott McOwen
How can you help? Most importantly, you can pray for this ministry. You can consider actively helping. We can use helpers and leaders for younger ages. There is curriculum available for ages 2 through 5.
You may also contribute beverages or finger snacks that are given to the kids each Wednesday. The Pioneers also are in need of items such as glue sticks, colored markers, plain paper, colored construction paper, paper clips, and the like. Or you can donate a monetary gift to be used specifically for Pioneer Clubs. Thanks for your support!
